Turning a Commission Tool Into an Operational Backbone
Sequifi is a commission automation SaaS solving one of the biggest bottlenecks for fast-scaling field sales companies in solar, pest control, and insurance: hiring and retaining top-performing sales reps. By combining automated commission tracking with AI-powered recruiting funnels, Sequifi launched a vertical expansion into recruitment services targeting CEOs who were losing time and revenue to no-shows, slow hiring cycles, and high churn. WeLaunch was brought in to build the entire go-to-market infrastructure for that expansion: positioning, demand generation, qualification automation, and community authority from the ground up.

Selling recruiting services to operators who've been burned before.
Commission-based sales hiring is a notoriously high-churn, high-skepticism market. CEOs and VPs of solar and pest companies have tried recruiting solutions before. Most underdelivered. Getting them to trust a new product, especially one from a company they knew as a commission tool, required a fundamentally different approach than a standard SaaS GTM.
How do you break into a skeptical, high-churn market and establish a new product category for a company that's already known for something else?

We made Sequifi the room where operators go to solve their hiring problem, not just a tool they try.
The strategic shift was from product marketing to community authority. Operators in solar and pest control trust peers more than vendors. The fastest path to credibility was not ads, it was getting Sequifi into the rooms where those operators already talk.
Positioned Sequifi as the "Operational Backbone" for solar and pest companies, framing recruitment, commission, and retention as a single automated workflow, not three separate problems
Integrated GHL (white-labeled), CallFluent, and Twilio to build a fully trackable lead funnel, monitoring cost per applicant, conversion to hire, and onboarding speed in real time
Launched ego-led webinars and private community groups bringing together industry CEOs and VPs to share hiring pain points, turning Sequifi into the hub rather than a vendor on the periphery
A/B tested cold email subject lines, SMS scripts, and LinkedIn CTAs continuously, splitting campaigns by region (Utah vs Texas) to identify highest-converting messaging per market
Built custom lead journeys with Calendly, AI SMS and calling agents, and recruiter handoffs, eliminating manual back-and-forth and cutting no-show rates significantly
Created vertical-specific content ("Top 5 Hiring Mistakes in Solar") and retargeted ad viewers to book calls or join webinars, converting passive interest into pipeline
